MONDAMIN, IA - One person was killed and another was rushed to the hospital following a collision on I-29 in Mondamin early Wednesday morning.
According to KCAU, the incident occurred when a vehicle was traveling south in the northbound lanes of the interstate and collided head-on with another.
Police say the southbound vehicle skidded into the median, rolled over, and ejected the driver. The second vehicle came to rest after crashing into the median.
A 39-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in the crash and a 20-year-old woman was transported to Missouri Valley hospital. It is unclear which vehicles the victims were in at this time.
