News: 2 injured after Burlington motorcycle crash

BURLINGTON, IA - Two people were sent to the hospital following a motorcycle accident in Burlington last Friday afternoon, the Hawk Eye reports.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. along North Roosevelt Avenue, near the intersection with Lennox Avenue.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, a man and a woman in their 40s, suffered serious injuries as a result.

The man was flown to University Hospital in Iowa City for treatment. The woman was transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
