DAVENPORT, IA - Two police officers were injured and four teens were arrested following a short police chase and crash in Davenport on Tuesday afternoon, KWQC reports.
Police responded to reports of a burglary shortly before 3:15 p.m. within the 4400 block of Bridge Avenue. About 30 minutes after the initial response, police located the suspects in a stolen vehicle in the 1500 block of Bridge Avenue.
The suspects attempted to flee officers, leading them on a short chase before crashing into a police car near the intersection of East 5th Street and Pershing Avenue.
Four teens attempted to flee the scene on foot. They were caught a short time later and taken into custody on a number of charges.
Two offers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
