News: 3-vehicle crash near Dickens leaves 1 injured

DICKENS, IA - One person was sent to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash along Highway 18 near Dickens on Friday night.

According to KCAU, the crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 18 and County Highway 14.

Investigators believe a westbound driver ran through the stop sign when they were hit by another vehicle heading southbound. When the southbound vehicle came to a stop, it was struck again by a pickup truck.

The driver in the at-fault vehicle was extricated from her vehicle, and transported to Spencer Hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported as a result.
