News: Davenport hit-and-run leaves 1 seriously injured

DAVENPORT, IA - A skateboarder suffered serious injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Davenport on Thursday night.

According to KWQC, the incident occurred at about 11:40 p.m. as the victim was riding a skateboard southbound within the 1000 block of North Marquette Street.

The man was struck by an unspecified vehicle, which immediately fled the scene afterward.

The victim was rushed to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
