News: Driver slams into utility pole in east Des Moines

DES MOINES, IA - Police in Des Moines were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash just southeast of downtown on Tuesday evening.

According to a report by the Des Moines Police Scanner, the driver crashed into a utility pole at about 4:37 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast 24th Street and Harriet Street.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time. However, no injuries were reported as a direct result.
