News: Motorcycle crash shuts down east Des Moines intersection

DES MOINES, IA - Emergency crews were called to the scene of a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in east Des Moines on Thursday afternoon.

According to a tweet by Des Moines Police, the crash took place at about 1:45 p.m. within the intersection of East 26th Street and Grand Avenue.

Few details about the crash are available at this time. However, the intersection was shut down for some time after the crash.

It is unclear if any injuries were suffered as an immediate result of the crash.
