News: Motorcyclist killed after rear-ending semi in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, IA - A motorcyclist died after slamming into a semi-truck in Sioux City on Thursday morning.

According to Siouxland Proud, the crash occurred at about 11:10 a.m. within the 2400 block of Lewis Boulevard, near Northbrook Drive

Investigators believe the semi was attempting to make a left turn onto Lewis Boulevard when a motorcycle crashed into the rear of the trailer.

The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
