News: Rock Rapids crash causes minor injuries

ROCK RAPIDS, IA - Minor injuries were reported as the result of a two-vehicle crash in the Rock Rapids area on Monday morning.

According to a report by Nwest Iowa, the incident occurred when the 22-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Silverado went through the stop sign at the intersection of Indian Avenue and Highway 9.

The pickup collided with another Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling eastbound through the intersection.

At least one driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. Both pickups were totaled.

The driver in the first vehicle was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
