SIDNEY, IA - A 40-year-old man died after crashing his motorcycle on Highway 2 near Sidney on Sunday night.
According to a report by KMA, the incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. near the intersection fight 278th Avenue.
Investigators say the motorcyclist was heading east when his 2001 Harley-Davidson XL 2100 S crossed the center line and veered off the west side of the roadway. The motorcycle crashed into a ditch and flipped several times, ejecting the driver.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
