DAVENPORT, IA - A woman was fatally struck by multiple vehicles while standing outside of her disabled vehicle on I-80 early Monday morning.
According to a report by KWQC, the woman was hit at about 3:12 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, near Davenport.
Police say the woman's 2008 Ford Edge was disabled and partially blocking the roadway. She was standing outside of the vehicle when she was hit by a Ford Explorer and a Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
The victim was rushed to Genesis West, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
