News: Collision leaves 2 Griswold High School students injured

GRISWOLD, IA - Two juveniles were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash just outside of Griswold High School on Wednesday.

According to SW Iowa News, the collision occurred at about 1:30 p.m. when the 16-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Impala pulled out of the high school parking lot and was hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck heading north on IA-48.

The driver of the Impala and her juvenile passenger were transported to a nearby hospital The pickup's driver, a 65-year-old Lewis man, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
