DAVENPORT, IA - Commuters in east Davenport faced major delays as the result of a crash on I-74 in the Bettendorf area on Monday night.
According to a report by Iowa 511, the crash took place at about 8:39 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway near the exit to Mississippi Boulevard.

It is unclear at this time what led up to the crash. However, significant delays were reported in the area while crews worked to remove the wreckage from the roadway.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. All lanes were reopened shortly before 9 p.m.
