WALFORD, IA - A semi-truck driver was killed last night when a strong gust of wind knocked his truck on its side in eastern Iowa.
According to CBS 2 Iowa, the crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. along IA-151 just outside of downtown Walford.
Troopers say the truck was pushed over due to strong winds in the area, causing it to crash into a roadside ditch.
The driver of the semi was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. They were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
