SIOUX CENTER, IA - The driver of a semi-truck was hospitalized after the vehicle was struck by a train in Sioux Center this morning, KACU reports.
Investigators believe the driver, a 49-year-old Sioux City man, failed to stop for the railroad crossing, causing his truck and flatbed to be hit by the train.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. No one on the train was reported injured in the crash.
