BRANDON, IA - All southbound lanes on I-380 were shut down after a semi-truck caught fire near the town of Brandon last week.
According to a report by KCRG, the driver fell asleep behind the wheel of the truck at about 4:40 a.m. and crashed into a guardrail between Waterloo and Cedar Rapids.
The truck began leaking fuel, which sparked a large fire. Fortunately, the 49-year-old driver was uninjured.
