MILLS CO., IA - Seven people, including five children, were injured in a single-vehicle collision about six miles from the Nebraska border, WOWT reports.
Mills County Sheriff's deputies were called to the intersection of Mahaffey Road and Levi Road, just south of the town of Glenwood, at about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.
Emergency responders transported two adults and five children, ranging in age from 5 months to 13 years, to University of Nebraska Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.
Deputies say that three of the children were lying in the vehicle's bed at the time of the crash, and were not wearing safety devices.
