WINTERSET, IA - A driver died Saturday night after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with a pillar just south of Winterset, KCCI reports.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says that a 28-year-old Osceola man was driving north on Clark Tower Road on the evening of July 24, when he lost control of his vehicle while on the Middle River Bridge, struck a guardrail, and then collided with a support pillar near the 230th Lane intersection.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the vehicle's only occupant.
