DES MOINES, IA - At least one person suffered injuries following an early-morning crash and police chase in Des Moines on Friday.
According to the DSM Police Scanner, the crash took place shortly after 2 a.m. near the intersection of 9th Street and University Avenue.

Moments after the accident occurred, reports of a foot chase came in. By the end of the incident, one person was in custody. It is unclear at this time who was injured as a result of the crash.
