News: Single-vehicle crash in Knoxville sends 1 to hospital

KNOXVILLE, IA - Emergency responders transported one person to the hospital following a single-vehicle collision north of Knoxville early yesterday morning.

KNIA reports that Knoxville Fire & EMS were called to the 1200 block of County Highway G44 at about 3:30 a.m. on July 15. They arrived to find that a vehicle had collided with a power pole, and transported one person to Knoxville Hospital & Clinics with unspecified injuries.

Units with the Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash, while Mid-American Energy repaired the damage to the power pole.
