News: 2 Injured when car crashes into house in Creston

CRESTON, IA - Two people were injured when a car crashed into a house early Sunday morning.

KMA reports that, at around 2 a.m., a 2006 Pontiac was speeding south on Lincoln Street when its driver lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Mills Street and collided with a house.

Emergency responders extricated the driver and a passenger the vehicle. The driver was airlifted to Des Moines Mercy Hospital, and the passenger was taken to Greater Regional Health Center via EMS.

Police believe the driver had been drinking prior to the incident.
