BETTENDORF, IA - Four people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash on the westbound lanes of I-74 this morning.
KWCQ reports that the accident took place at around 8:40 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the interstate just past the State Street exit.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident and one had overturned and was blocking both lanes. The four occupants of the rolled over vehicle were all taken to a local hospital via ambulance for unspecified injuries.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were unhurt.
The precise cause of the collision is unknown at this time.
The roadway remained closed for around 45 minutes.
