BREMER COUNTY, IA - The driver of a semi-truck was injured after crashing into a chisel plow in Readlyn on Monday evening.
KCHA reports the incident occurred at around 5 p.m. as the driver of a Freightliner semi was heading east on Highway 3.
Troopers say a chisel plow that was being towed by a westbound Ford F-250 pickup truck drifted across the centerline and into the path of the semi.
The driver of the semi was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for his injuries. It is unclear if the driver of the pickup was injured in the crash.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
