News: Man hospitalized after truck collides with train in Lester

LESTER, IA - A 60-year-old man was injured when his truck collided with a train just south of Lester on Monday morning.

According to a report by the N'West Iowa Review, at around 8 a.m., the driver was headed eastbound on 170th Street near Mud Creek when his work truck collided with a northbound BNSF Railway train.

The man was airlifted to Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with unspecified injuries.

No one on the train was reported injured.
