News: Man suffers broken leg after Davenport crash

DAVENPORT, IA - A man was injured after a crash Wednesday night in Davenport.

QCTimes reports that the accident took place at around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Harrison Street.

The report states that the driver of a Dodge Charger was headed southbound on Harrison and ran a red light at the intersection which caused it to collide with a Chevy Silverado that was going westbound on 4th Street.

The collision pushed the Silverado into a utility pole on the southwest corner of the intersection.

The driver of the Charger was injured with a broken leg and transported to a medical center in Davenport. The driver of the Silverado was reported to not be injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
