PALO, IA - A man was injured after a motorcycle crash just north of Palo on Monday afternoon.
KCRG reports that the crash took place sometime before 4:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Lewis Bottoms Road.
Investigators say the rider lost control of his motorcycle, left the roadway, and crashed into a mailbox, before coming to a rest in a ditch on the west side of the road.
The man was air lifted to a hospital for what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
