MITCHELLVILLE, IA - A semi-truck driver was sent to the hospital after almost crashing into a house just south of Mitchellville on Friday morning.
We Are Iowa reports that the semi veered off the road for unknown reasons and narrowly missed a home in the 1300 block of Northeast University Avenue. The truck then came to a rest when it crashed into a wooded area nearby.
The truck driver was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
