DE SOTO, IA - A man was killed in a car crash on Interstate 80 near De Soto Sunday afternoon.
RadioIowa reports a driver heading westbound on I-80 in a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan was killed after failing to slow down behind a semi-truck and rear-ending it.
Authorities claim that the driver of the semi had come to a standstill because of an earlier crash west of De Soto.
The driver of the semi was reported to not be injured.
