NEW VIRGINIA, IA - An Iowa city man was killed while checking the damage done to his car by a deer Friday evening.
TheGazette reports that at around 7:25 p.m. on Interstate 35 a vehicle collided with a deer and became incapacitated in the outside lane. When the driver got out to investigate the damage done to the vehicle he was struck by a pickup truck and killed.
No other injuries have been reported.
