News: 2 injured after crash in Audubon County

AUDUBON CO., IA - Two people were hospitalized after a driver rear-ended a semi-truck in Audubon County on Tuesday.

Nodaway Broadcasting reports that an unidentified female driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Bluebird Avenue and 150th Street and slammed into a semi-truck. The impact caused the truck to veer off the roadway and overturn.

The woman was airlifted to a hospital in Des Moines and the driver of the semi was taken to a medical center in Harlan. Their identities are being withheld at this time.
