DES MOINES, IA - A Des Moines Police cruiser was involved in an injury crash on Thursday.
KCCI reports that the crash took place as Jeep turned onto Southeast 14th Street at McKinley Avenue and struck the cruiser.
The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries in the crash. The police officer was not injured.
