ALLISON, IA - A man was killed after his pickup truck slammed into a parked semi-truck on Highway 14 yesterday.
KIMT reports the crash took place at around 2:43 p.m. in the southbound lanes of IA-14, near the IA-3 intersection.
Investigators believe the man was southbound on the highway when he failed to stop at the intersection. The pickup then skidded off the road, and crashed into the parked semi-trailer.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
