CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - A garbage truck driver was injured after crashing into an SUV Friday morning.
CBS2Iowa reports that the crash took place near 30th Street Drive Southeast and Diamond Drive, when the garbage truck failed to stop for the SUV and crashed into it. Afterwards, it rolled through a fence and ended up in the yard of a residential home.
Nobody in the SUV was harmed. The driver of the garbage truck was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
