OTTUMWA, IA - A semi-truck holding hogs overturned in Ottumwa Wednesday morning.
KTVO reports that the accident took place near the John Deere Ottumwa Works at about11:30 a.m.
Police say the driver of the truck was navigating the roundabout when its load shifted causing it to overturn on its side.
It is estimated that 160 to 180 hogs were on board when the crash took place. The driver was reported to not be injured.
The area was cleared by 5 p.m.
