News: Waterloo man injured after two-vehicle accident

CENTER POINT, IA - A man was injured after a ladder fell onto the interstate Wednesday morning.

KHAK reports that the crash took place on Interstate 380 at Mile Marker 35 at around 10 a.m., when the driver of a pickup tried to veer out of the way of the ladder that had fallen into the lane, and lost control while trying to enter the median.

A passenger in the vehicle was left injured and taken to a hospital.

The driver of the vehicle that dropped the ladder was cited for spilling a load on the interstate.
