News: 1 injured after 3 semis collide in Linn Co.

LINN CO., IA - A truck driver was hospitalized following a collision involving three semis on Highway 151 near Springville early this morning.

According to KCRG, the crash occurred when the driver of a tractor-trailer pulling an oversized load failed to see the width restriction at the construction zone near Wendling Lane.

The driver stopped and attempted to back up, halting traffic and causing three additional semis to collide.

One of the truck drivers was sent to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result.
