News: 2 killed when Linn Co. police chase ends in crash

LINN CO., IA - Two people were killed after colliding head-on with a dump drunk while attempting to flee deputies in Walford on Tuesday.

According to KWWL, the pursuit began after deputies received reports of a reckless driver on Highway 151.

The pursuit was suspended after several minutes due to the driver becoming more erratic. Moments later, the fleeing vehicle slammed head-on into a northbound dump truck.
