News: 62-year-old Marion man killed in Clayton Co. crash

MILLVILLE, IA - A man from Marion was killed Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash in Millville.

According to a report by KCRG, the crash occurred as the 62-year-old motorcyclist was heading north on Great River Road near Pleasant Avenue at about 12:30 p.m.

Deputies believe the man failed to navigate the curve on his Harley-Davidson and skidded off the right-hand side of the roadway. He was then hit in the neck and head area by a low-hanging branch.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
