News: Bicyclist hit by car in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Cedar Rapids on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report by KCRG, the vehicle vs. bicycle collision happened in the area of Third Avenue and 10th Street Southeast at about 12:09 p.m. 

The bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver remained on the scene following the collision.

The accident remains under investigation.
