News: Bicyclist killed in Urbandale crash

URBANDALE, IA - A man from Des Moines was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in the Urbandale area early Sunday morning.

According to a report by WHO 13, the cyclist was heading east on Meredeth Drive around 7:15 a.m. when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle near 86th Street.

The 55-year-old male victim suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.

It is unclear if the driver involved in the crash will face any charges at this time.
