URBANDALE, IA - Rush-hour commuters in Urbandale faced major delays resulting from a Friday morning crash on I-80.
According to a report by Iowa 511, the crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. on the westbound side of I-80, near Exit 131 to IA-28.

The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, the roadway was shut down for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
All lanes were reopened by 9:40.
