News: Crash near Sioux Center leaves 1 injured

SIOUX CENTER, IA - One person suffered injuries resulting from rear-end collision on 380th Street in Sioux Center on Monday evening.

According to a report by the Sioux County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred at about 5:55 p.m. when the driver of a 2015 Ford Edge slammed into the rear of a 2014 Chevrolet pickup truck.

Police say the 63-year-old female driver of the Ford was following too closely when the Chevrolet stopped at a railroad crossing, causing the two to collide.

The woman responsible for the crash was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
