DES MOINES, IA- A deadly crash shut down East 14th Street on Monday evening.
According to a report by Weareiowa, the collision occurred at about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection with Thompson Avenue.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown. However, a total of four vehicles were involved in the crash, and at least one person was killed as a result.
Investigators believe excessive speed and reckless driving may have been factors in the fatal collision.
