News: Troopers respond to deadly trucking accident in Chickasaw Co.

CHICKASAW CO., IA - At least one person suffered fatal injuries after a semi vs. auto collision in Chickasaw County yesterday.

According to a report by KIMT, the crash was first reported at about 2:48 a.m. along the exit from Highway 63 to Highway 18.

Troopers believe the driver of a 2016 Hyundai failed to stop at the stop sign on the exit ramp and was T-boned by an eastbound semi.

Police confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash. It is unclear which vehicle the victim was in at this time.
