News: Woman killed in rural Davenport UTV crash

DAVENPORT, IA - A woman died after an all-terrain vehicle rolled over in rural Davenport last Saturday afternoon, KWQC reports.

The incident took place at about 1 p.m. within the 12100 block of 100th Avenue, near Buffalo.

Investigators believe one of the wheels on the Polaris RZR tripped, causing the vehicle to roll an unknown number of times.

A 25-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Sheriff's deputies say neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing seatbelts when the incident occurred.
