DANVILLE, IA- A pedestrian was struck and killed near US 34 in Danville on Monday night, according to Iowa Accident Reporting.
At approximately 8:55pm, a vehicle was driving near the intersection of US 34 eastbound towards Danville Road when a pedestrian entered the roadway. The vehicle struck the pedestrian. Officials arrived to the scene shortly after and transported the injured victim to the hospital, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
