News: 52-year-old man seriously injured in motorcycle crash in Davenport

DAVENPORT, IA - A man was seriously injured in a single-motorcycle crash Sunday night near the Illinois boarder in Davenport.

According to Our Quad Cities, the incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kirkwood Boulevard near the intersection with Eastern Avenue.

Investigators say the 52-year-old motorcyclist lost control for unknown reasons and collided with the median, He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition and subsequently transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by Medforce for additional treatment.
