WAUKEE, IA- One person was injured and multiple displaced after a fire at a senior living community on Thursday morning, according to local news sources.
At approximately 7:00am, officials responded to reports of a fire in the Thomas Place Senior Living Community. At least 8 residents were displaced due to the fire, and the Waukee Fire Department called in units from Des Moines and Urbandale for assistance. One person was transported to the hospital for accident related injuries.
