BURLINGTON, IA- One person was killed and another injured in a Taft Avenue intersection collision in Burlington on Saturday, according to Iowa Accident Reporting.
At approximately 1:58pm, one vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign in the intersection of Taft Avenue and 390th Street. One vehicle struck another and caused it to exit the intersection and roll into a ditch, partially ejecting the driver. The driver not wearing a seatbelt was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
