SHELDON, IA - According toIowa State Patrol, a driver was hurt after he struck a semi-truck on the 3400 block of Nettle Ave Tuesday.
A 48-year-old male was driving a Hyundai Elantra when he hit the rear axles of the trailer part of a semi-truck around 1:19 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the Elantra driver to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
